Economy Rentals Inc has been a staple in the Southern California community since opening our doors in 1947. To this day, we are still family owned and operated.

After starting a development company together, business partners and former Marine Ken Manley and Russ Meek Sr, used their earnings to start Economy Rentals. The first yard was established in the heart of Los Angeles in 1947. After much success, they expanded and opened the Anaheim location in 1956. Being one of the first equipment rental companies on the scene, Ken and Russ were considered to be pioneers of the rental business.

In 1990, Don & Jan Myers (daughter of Ken) and Russ Meek Jr took over the family business and continue to run daily operations. To this day, with over 60 years experience, Don & Jan remain the owners of Economy Rentals with Don (formerly-commissioned Marine officer) overseeing the Anaheim yard. His son, Doug Myers, who has worked in the family business for over 40 years, currently oversees the Los Angeles yard.
